Darcy has been with KSCR since 2022 and has come a long way during his time at the shelter. Once a terrified boy who wouldn’t let anyone approach him, he has transformed into a calm companion who allows head pets and looks forward to treat time.

Darcy simply wants to spend his days curled up in a comfy spot, enjoying the company of other feline friends. He isn’t needy for human attention and is happy to share space with you from a distance.

Darcy is FIV+, but he can coexist with non-FIV cats thanks to his calm demeanor around his furry companions. He does not require any medication, and those interested in adopting him should be knowledgeable about FIV.

His perfect home would be one without children or dogs, and it must have other cats. A home where he can thrive as the independent soul he is, accepting that he may never become a lap cat, would be ideal.
